Hey Google Set A Timer for 47 minutes
Good Saturday Morning!
8:39 AM EST
I had to think about it, but yep it is Saturday. Last night's dreams were something else. I woke up several times so I don't actually remember them as vividly as I'd like to. I do remember thinking in the middle of the night "Oh I could name that discussion ___ ____ Rubber Duckie! The blank spaces represent the words I forgot. So at some point I had a dream about a rubber duckie. I vaguely remember it was found in the bottom of a river.
So, why did you set the timer Amber?
This chair is comfortably uncomfortable. It contributes to strain on my back and the bruises on my thighs. Every forty five minutes I am going to get up and move around. I set it for forty seven to give the laptop time to boot up.
What do you think people 100 years from now will think about our homes and the possessions we leave behind?
I think there will be two reactions depending on how advanced our civilization is.
1) "Oh wow, look at this inferior technology! Ours is much better." (Aren't we sort of saying that about our ancestors now?)
OR
2) "Oh wow, their technology was superior but it ended up being to their detriment. I'm so glad we live in a time where we are more knowledgeable about what could kill us. " (Aren't we sort of saying that about our ancestors now?)
Anyway...
How has your fin de semana (weekend) been?

Nothing happening here as usual. Will there be people 100 years from now? That's another consideration.

Very true. I saw a documentary once on the weather channel (I think) that showed what was likely to happen to the earth 100 years from now. To be honest, I am hoping that this pandemic opens people's eyes more. We are helping the environment by staying at home and working from home too.
I know I've seen lately that some employers may consider keeping part of their workforce at home even after the pandemic.

@LindaOHio Exactly. We have to take better care of ourselves, each other and our planet.

Do you remember playing the fishing for duckies game at fairs and carnivals? That's what came to mind when I woke up.

@Courtlynn It has been several years since I've been to the fair. The only thing I go there for is the maple cotton candy and a ride on the ferris wheel. Oh, and turkey legs occasionally.

I leave my computer every an hour and do ocular exercises and cervical vertebra exercises for a while.I don't set the timer, just see the time on the lower right corner of the screen.

I look away from the screen every few minutes so that I do not strain my eyes. That has become habitual.
