Anyone ever heard of the Smile Direct Club? I have seen it advertised SO many times on Instagram and Facebook..and I have wanted to try it, but I have been scared just because...well, you know. It's dicey to try something so new.
Smile Direct Club is a 100% "at home" teeth straightening aligners that they ship to you in the mail, seems to fix "most" issues but maybe not SEVERELY crooked teeth. Not quite sure. In total, if you pay in full, it costs about $1800. Which is much cheaper than traditional braces or even Invisalign.
I started the process to see if I would qualify yesterday - they ship you some molding clay that you have to bite into for a couple minutes, and it captures your teeth shape. Also they require pictures.
I am curious to see if I qualify (who knows), but it would be sweet if so. I think having to wear aligners 22 hours out of the day would also help prevent me from snacking so much at work. Lol!
Have you ever heard of this company or had any experience with anything like this?

I’ve had Invisalign braces, which the dentist did the molds and I saw her every 4-6 weeks. I would never do “at home” braces. I had to have some adjustments as we went along, and even when the course was done, she said it wasn’t perfect enough! I wore them for about 5 weeks longer than planned to get things just right.
