Finally! I was able to cash in from PayPal to GCash again. For those who are not familiar with GCash, it's a payment processing system so I can get my virtual money from PayPal. Since I'm getting paid for my work via PayPal, I need GCash to get it in cold cash.
They caused too much trouble for freelancers around here since they have to move to another system. Their updates are now completed. At least I no longer have to spend so much with the fees by transferring it directly to my bank account.
I was able to pay our electric bill as well through GCash service. Thank goodness it's all back to normal for me!

Yup. It's free. Unless you will withdraw it already.

@jvincent_129 If you take it out as cash, there's a 20 pesos fee.

I don't have a GCash account and I don't know how to use it. My way of withdrawing the Paypal balance is via my ATM account.

You can actually just register for it using your mobile number. If you link our PayPal account with GCash, you can get funds from paypal instantly for free.

I have using it. You don't have to wait for several days to withdraw your money. As soon as you receive your money in your PayPal, you convert it to your local currency and have it cash in in Gcash by linking your PayPal account.

You have to pay fees when transferring to bank account and you still have to wait for 3-5 business days. With GCash, it's instant and free.
