These are the words we hear every day from some despairing, nervous invalid, who is weak, exhausted, dispirited and disheartened from repeated failure to find relief.
I love these old medicinal ads. This one boasts that it is vegetable derived. I imagine it probably helped to some degree, but then even today no one pill will do the trick.
As an aside, and nothing to do with this ad, how dare my neighbor mow their lawn when I have the window open.
I can not fault them for doing it today, however, as it is is the perfect day for it. It's cooler than it has been a being.
Also, and I am uber excited about this... the afghan I bought is on the mail truck to be delivered today. I'll take a picture of it and post it whenever It's actually washed and dried.
Would ya have taken this cure?

I doubt it. They have to push me for a long time to try anything
because sadly most changes don't work for me anyway

I do not like that part of medication. There is no cure all for everyone, what works for one won't for another. I guess it's the way it goes with our different bodies and medical histories though.

@bunnybon7 I do think they could do something about the side effects though. So many potential side effects in a medicine.

. I got a new floor lamp today. Yikes, it looks like some assembly is gonna be required.

I doubt that it was all vegetable! I would love to know what was in it. Enjoy your afghan!

@LindaOHio I found this. Lots of info about Dr. Greene and his family. Not quite what we're looking for, but interesting all the same.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Interesting. It says it contains herbs. Love the bottles. We used to collect them.

I like the smell too, but it is an allergen for me. My throat is already itchy as I did not close the window when he started to mow.
