Sometime it is beyond reasoning when animals adopt babies of other animals.

Many people adopt animals and birds which are injured and care for them till they recover or adopt them. But we do come across real life stories where a a dog adopts a kitten, a tigeress adopting a baby monkey, a cow adopting a leapord and so on. In normal circumstance these animals don't tolerate each other. There is no scientific explaination for this strange behaviour. We need to consider the circumstance which lead to these strange adoptions. A mother dog had adopted a kitten after all it's new born puppies had died and was feeling depressed. A tigeress adopted a baby monkey after it had killed the mother while hunting and didn't notice the baby and the tiger took good care of the baby. A baby leapord's mother had died and some villagers spotted the baby leapord. The villager had a cow and so he left the baby leapord with the cow to feed milk. The cow became fond of the leapord and fed milk till he was big enough to fend for himself. The leapord returned occassionally and spent time with his foster mother cow during the night. There are many more such incidents I have read and the common thing I noted was a mother's love no matter what the baby looked like. Do share your thoughts and experience.
