In the past our grandparents used to prefer using wooden utensils they readily available at that time and I remember in the year 1992 I asked my grandmother why she was using the Mvure a traditional name for a Kenyan wooden plate and she told me that Mvure is the best in serving food and it keeps food hot for a long time.
Now days people have more options to choose which kind of utensils they prefer to use,as for me I prefer metal utensils more because they durable. What types of utensils do you prefer?

That's is good,in fact it depends with the kind of food you are cooking. Like me I use metal frying pan when I am frying eggs, I like eating fried eggs and bread for breakfast.

That's good but why do you prefer to use wooden utensils most?

I use the silver spoon and fork as part of the eating habit. But I could also use chopsticks for noodles, and plastic (which I avoid) for take-outs, and for grilled food - the hands. It's how we Filipinos enjoy our meals. Ha ha

Wooden utensils for me are the best and healthiest to use. Free from any heavy metals which may be toxic and lead to diseases in the long run.
