Is marriage working out these days. So many divorces and unhappy married people just staying together for the children's sake .When you really love someone you will stick with them through thick or thin. Where is the love these days. Just lust and then the novelty is gone.

21 years and going strong. When things got tough we stuck it through. The harder we fight for our marriage the stronger it is.
I feel like so many things are disposable that we have forgotten how to fix things and that includes relationships.

Well said.
I couldn't agree more.
The harder we fight and work at a relationship the better it gets
Of that there is no doubt in my mind at all

I think commitment is more important than marriage. There are those who take marriage lightly.

Aye.
I think you are right about that.
@Yvonnestewart and I have never married, but have been together for 24 years and things get better and better all the time with both of us working to the sane goal of being happy and making the other happy too

I think it is beautiful when people are together. Paper doesn't mean nothing. Love is the most important.

It worked for me. But maybe it was because we started out when we were very young.

Yvonne and I have never married
We have been together since 1997
And trust me, the lust is still there.
