I hate bitter gourd ? I would prefer not to eat than eating this vegetable. It has such a bitter taste.
My mother is very fond of this vegetable. She prepares all kinds curries using bitter gourd. She says it's very healthy and with medicinal properties. Believed to purify blood, good for liver and also beneficial in diabetes.
Do you hate bitter gourd and how do you make it taste better.

Bitter gourd is a common vegetable here, however, I have never liked it since it is bitter. I never like bitter food. On the contrary, there are still many people who like it. They even say it is not bitter. They say there are many advantages of eating bitter gourd. It is also good for losing weight. But I don't need it at all

@jayanth_77 I don't eat a lot of it though. I will cut off about an inch, take out the insides, and just eat it. I think of it as a vitamin
. My mom used to cut it up and stir fry it with a miso sauce.

@HannahKusKus crunchy only when it is dried and fried in oil. That way it tastes really good. The bitter taste goes away.

I find it impossible to smile when I eat bittergourd rather it's easy to cry.
Frying or roasting the cut bittergourd does help reduce the bitterness.
