So many cobwebs.

Since the lockdown I have been indoors more and I have noticed that I seem to be getting more and more cobwebs all over the house. Everyday I get rid of them but by the next day more have appeared. The trouble is I can never find the spider who is making all these webs. Although I did catch one and put it outside the other day but there always are more that I cannot find.

@amitkokiladitya We did manage to find it, but it lives in a hole under the floor so we will never catch it.

No we used to have climbing ivy but we got rid of it because it grew out of control. There is still some in the back garden.

@lazydaizee cobwebs are usually built by spiders at location where it is dark or light is dim. Also if there are more flying insects in the house spiders keep building cobwebs.

The flies and insects come in when the windows and doors are open. I suppose the cobwebs are good for getting rid of flies and other flying insects.

@jayanth_77 We do not get lizards here apart from the ones that some people keep as pets. Does the smell of paint keep spiders away? I hope so because my husband is redecorating while I write.

@lazydaizee more than the cobwebs it's the lizards that keep the insects in check. if you repaint your house then I feel the cobwebs won't bother you for a long time.
