Sick puppy

My 3 yr old lab mix dog gave us a scare today. He got real sick. He slept the majority of the day and barely are his food. His nose was continually running. When he did go outside, he did eat some grass and that made him sick. Once he did that, he seems to be doing better. I can't take him to a vet as there's no spare money. I'm just glad to see him doing better.

Well I sure hope your puppy just had a stomach upset and I hope he'll be much better soon.

our dogs have the occasional cough but they are treated with mucolytics, courtesy of the friendly nurse, that is me.

i and my son would bring any of our sick dogs to the veterinarian. he gives them medicines.
yes, our dogs eat grass too, and the deeds of the palm tree.
