Phew.
I got home around 3:20 p.m. PST, and now it's 4:40 pm PST by my computer clock.
I was trying to put some more items in my Facebook shop, when my cordless mouse, which I've been having some trouble with for at least a month, decided to up and quit for good.
So, I first called Staples office supply and asked about mice compatible with Windows 7 (since the last mouse I bought said on the packaging that it wasn't?) The man I spoke to said it should be, and didn't it come with a (techno-thingy) and I said no (though I could see on the package that there was a space for whatever it was, but the thing wasn't there). So, he said I could buy one seperately and they were open until 6 p.m.
I gathered some things and walked to Staples office supply. I explained to one of the sales people there what the problem was, and he brought me over to the mice, (I don't think I even got to mention the missing "thingamabob") and said if I got a mouse with a cord, it would be 1) much cheaper, and 2) that I wouldn't have to deal with all the rigmarole (the last part is the way I interpreted it).
So I bought a mouse with a cord, then walked across the parking lot to the grocery store to pick up a few things, completely forgetting that I can no longer (for the time being) use my reusable bag 'cause it's a COVID-19 no-no. I didn't get much, any way.
I had to wait half an hour for the bus, took it to the last stop, walked the last block home, took Angel for an afternoon walk, came home, fed her, came in here and hooked up the mouse, and so here I am.
I definitely got more steps in today than I've been getting for a while !

Well, looking on the bright side, you got in some good exercise, you got yourself a new mouse, and you were able to pick up a few things at the grocery store. At least it didn't start pouring down rain on you!
