Doc came and helped us out

I knew he was busy that day and he forgot our request. Sad to say he couldn't do anything about it except give a few things that would keep her sustaining and some medication. The docs even accompanied me to the pharmacy since it's sunday.
Some mylotters were right that it was a mild stroke and even if I was there to stop her from the fall, she would still have it. I also learned too late that she didn't have her high blood maintenance for almost a week, leading to this. I'm frustrated even more because this all could have been avoided if she had her complete set of meds.
I wonder how long does a person have left when they had a stroke, specially at the age of 93? It's sad I asked the doctor and he was blunt that she might not even reach 100 with her condition.
I still can't believe this happened, above all people.....

Hello @thelme55 how long do you think she can survive while on stroke, its even harder to feed her like this.

Glad she is doing better now. Some fully recover from a stroke depending on the damage it has done. Only time will tell. But she needs to take her meds regular even more now that she has had one.

Here in Ontario we have recently been restricted to getting only one month's supply of prescription meds at a time, supposedly so that the pharmacies don't run out.

@Letranknight2015 I am only saying none of us know how long we will live, she could outlive all of us. Just enjoy the time, I say that only because I have no more parents or grandparents to share time with.

At 93, that's great. She has reached that far in her age.
