It is hard to keep one productive during this pandemic and lock down. We are always looking for things to do. However, we mistake being busy from being productive. Anyway, one thing that I have been doing regularly is completely logging off from my laptop and mobile phone and enjoying my offline activities. Let's face it, we accomplish a lot of things with our laptops, our mobile phones, and PDAs. There is an app for almost everything in our daily life that to completely disconnect and switch off all our mobile devices would be crazy, right? Wrong!!! Personally, I think there is nothing wrong 'disconnecting' from our online worlds. Its not like something will go wrong with the internet and you are the only soul who could repair it and restore it to its former glory. Technology can be so addicting and it is hard to stay off one's laptop or phone but guys and girls, do try it. Start a couple of minutes every day until you move on to a couple of hours and then eventually you will see yourself 'unplugged' for a whole day. Imagine all the other things that you'd enjoy doing without needing a browser and an internet connection. I've been 'disconnecting' more often nowadays and at multiple times during the day as well. obviously, except when I have work since I work from home. I can say that I have found a new freedom if not having a care in who made an update about whatever happened. I'm making a conscious effort to enjoy the the immediate world around me and the people I see face to face. Consider this your social distancing from social media and technology. Do you ever 'disconnect'?

Most definitely! Everyone enjoys their screen time, but we all need to live a real life - nothing replaces that. I like the idea of "social distancing" from social media and technology . . . 6 hours apart is a good rule of thumb .

@jrlcentral makes sense. I'd most likely sleep as well. Chores would be an option as well.
