Locked down at home or space station what's the difference?

People often complain that during the Corona lockdown authorities are forcing people to stay at home and anyone found venturing out is punished. They do not realise the purpose behind such a step. At home you are free to move around the house, do your own thing, work, watch TV or listen to music and enjoy time with your family and friends.
A space station is also a restricted place with very limited movement. The astronauts spends 6 months or more in it. They work , sleep and eat under zero gravity. They even can't open the door and venture out just like us due to lack of oxygen and harmful radiation in space. They need to wear special suit. They never complain because they consider it their responsibility to contribute for the advancement of science.
If we can cooperate with the authorities and help them to keep us safe till the pandemic is over it will make their task easy.
What do you think - lockdown at home or in space is better?

@Lavanya15 Yes a house wife is always busy be it a lockdown or not. She has to take care of everybody in the house. Under normal conditions husband will be at office while kids will be at school during the day and will have time to relax but now when everyone at home it becomes tough to manage and need to be constantly on her toes.

Astronauts are more disciplined and have more self control than orinary people who keep complaining but don't follow the rules and guidelines prescribed.

@Shavkat hope so. 100% fool proof vaccine with life long protection is still under research but hopefully a vaccine giving some level of protection will be available by this year end.

I think it’s easier at home, as we can go to the shops for groceries, plus you have your own things around you.

This is an interesting choice but hands down I will NOT choose space station. There is a big psychological effect when I know that I am in space while at home, even if I am isolated for quarantine, I know I am on our planet.
