You can start by reducing your intake of meat and not become a 100% vegetarian from one day to the other.

My son is a vegetarian and so is his girlfriend. The food they cook is delicious! However, I enjoy meat, chicken, and fish too much to change. I try to eat less red meat.

It's something you have to decide for yourself and not be persuaded. Everyone has the right to their own choice. I'm not a vegetarian

@jefferson126 Whatever you decide, I wish you luck. The best advice might be to listen to your body, and eat what you feel like eating, so you can't go wrong

First of all, I am not a vegetarian. Usually I regard them very holy because they don't eat animals at all. I can't do so. Although I like eating vegetables, but I also like eating meats. It will be too difficult for me to give it up. As to the healthy issues, I think the balanced diet is the best

A lot of folks are vegetarian. It has nothing to do with a dietary choice. It's about survival. They buy the food they can afford. When I decided to reduce the amount of meat that I served my family, my grocery bill decreased anywhere from $30 to $50. Just by not buying meat. So maybe if you look at it as a sort of financial strategy, you could convince yourself.

@jefferson126 If you like meat you should not be a vegetarian. You can try it and if does not work out then go back to eating meat or can just do what you want to do. Everyone has to decide for themselves what eating lifestyle they want to do.

@jefferson126 I feel everyone has to decide for themselves what is best for them. I cannot tell you what is best. I can only suggest maybe try if you want to and you can always go back to meat. I eat meat and am not a vegetarian so cannot tell anyone else how to eat. It is just like losing weight. I can only say that diets do not work. I have done them many times and gained the weight back and have heard that others have. I feel everyone has to find their own path as to how they want to lose weight and keep it off hopefully. I found my path that is good for me. So that is why I said what I said.

You know what... I've been thinking of it, for it's healthier to be a vegetarian. But...I started thinking about what I'll miss, ...hamburger deluxe, meat sauce with spaghetti, chorizo, roast pork, roast beef...so I put the idea on a back burner letting the idea go do now.
