This is the second post of a song a day challenge.
Today is: A song you love with a Number in the title.
And of course I am only doing Black Veil Brides/Andy Black songs.
The Last One appeared on their 5th album Vale. It was the first song of the album to introduce the world this new message.
This song is very prolific. People actually thought that this was the song that BVB was signing off with and that they were going to break up. Well, thank goodness they did not break up.
It is an anthem song, it is basically a song going against the world like many BVB songs are. It is an anthem to be the last people that will have to fight the world full of hate.
Black Veil Brides have always made songs about being outcasts and proving that it is okay to be an outcast. But also the fact that you don't NEED to make yourself an outcast just to prove that you are different. Everyone is different and no one is actually an outcast because we will always find someone who we can relate to.
That is kind of how the song works. To be the last person standing in a world realizing that we are not all that different and we are all outcasts but we are all the same and that we need to be the last people that hold this stigma that we always have to be a certain way. We need to extinguish the hate and only appreciate our uniqueness.
Such an amazing song
