Being over safe or forgetful

I just went out on my scooter to order some provisions wearing my helmet. The ordered items were neatly packed by the shopkeeper but as I tried to put in my scooter it didnt seem to fit in. So I decided to bring my car.
While I returned with my car the shopkeeper had a hearty laugh . I was rather surprised at his laugh as nothing seem amiss to me. He pointed to my head. I understood why he laughed. I was still wearing my scooter helmet while I drove my car
We both had a hearty laugh. 
We do forget things in a hurry and sometime it turns out to be funny.

thank you. but I have heard some states in India are trying to enforce helmet wearing for car drivers due to rising cases of head injury in car accidents.

@jayanth_77 Luckily I don't have any experience like that. I just remember my sister-in-law who wore her helmet the other way around as she was too sleepy when her husband fetched her at work and she just noticed it when they finally got home:)

On the other hand I have gone out without my mask until I was about to walk into a store and couldn't get in without one!! I have 5 masks throughout my place including one on the doorknob going out AND I FORGET TO TAKE A MASK!!

Excuse don't work always. You need to find a new excuse that sounds more realistic

yes . indeed. I read in a news articles where the transport authority are considering people to wear helmet while driving because people are dying of head injury even after they wear seat belt.

I am used to wearing helmet that I don't feel uncomfortable wearing it. Actually from safety point of you if is very good. Actually it's mandatory for car racers to wear a helmet.

Yes it is actually safer to drive a car wearing the helmet. In car racing drivers do wear helmet to protect themselves from head injury in a high speed crash
