Husband tested positive for COVID

It has been a while. I've been on quarantine since my husband tested positive for COVID. So far none of us have shown any symptoms and it has been almost two weeks since the testing. So far everyone says it's odd that out of four people who live together haven't shown any symptoms. We don't know if we had it previously back in November/December when we were all showing symptoms of COVID and somehow the test picked up the antibodies for that or if my husband got a false positive or if we all just have a very mild case. We have no clue what is going on. We were told that we could still do what we had to as long as we wore masks and weren't showing any symptoms. We've still tried to keep that to a minimum but when we found out we were about to go get our groceries and pay bills we couldn't pay online so had to go out and do that but have mostly been home. Again we were told by professionals doctors/nurses and the health department we were allowed to do these things while wearing a mask as long as we weren't showing symptoms. We have definitely done our best to not be around people but unfortunately had to get things done so we did our best to do things without putting others at risk. We aren't even sure if we have it or if it was a false positive. My husband had to be tested due to a resident at his work testing positive. Said resident is in the hospital currently and he tested negative four times before testing positive. The other two workers that tested positive along with my husband were sent home. The one other worker I know about also has not shown any symptoms. We found out the COVID test only has seventy percent accuracy. Thirty percent of people will get wrong test results. Hopefully we continue to be symptom free but who knows. My husband can return to work Saturday because he only has to be home symptom free ten days from the test before he can go back to work. I honestly have no clue if the test was wrong, if we just aren't showing symptoms or if it's detecting some sort of antibodies from before. I also find it odd that at least the one other worker isn't showing any symptoms and that the resident tested negative four times before testing positive. My MIL seems to think my husband should quarantine himself in a room by himself and that we all also need to be tested but none of that would do any good. My husband has been everywhere already so we already had contact and we only have one bathroom so we would still be exposed and the test wouldn't do much good if he tested positive even if we tested negative he still wouldn't be allowed back at work and again those tests aren't super accurate. There's no way that my husband would have it and we don't. We could still get symptoms but so far things have been ok. I doubt my husband will get any at this point since he had to have had it at least a day or more before the test the rest of us who knows. I'm pretty sure I would be getting them soon too as my husband and I share a bed. Everyone seems pretty confused that so far none of us have shown symptoms but we are statistics currently. Just thought I'd stop in and update on what has been going on in my life. I can't say I'm not paranoid. I have had a sore throat off and on during this and wondered if it's a symptom but I have sinus drainage and have had this off and on since way before this and get it a couple times a month off and on for a week or so because again I deal with sinus issues. My husband and mom both have a cough due to having been raised in smoker households but again they've had the cough for forever so it's not new and no one has any symptoms outside of the things we already deal with regularly.

If they have the anti-body, it will still show as possitive to the test. Maybe they just can't decide about it yet. I hope everybody in your house will be okay.

The virus is really strange to understand. Most people are recovering on their own and yes the test kits are not 100% accurate. Keep taking concoctions with high PH containt .wishing you well with your family .

Thank you, we are all fine and I'm fairly sure we never had it.

That is super scary, but if you have it and have no symptoms and don't pass it on, that's the best way to do it. Hopefully you now have antibodies!

That would be nice but I honestly doubt we ever had it.
