Up with the birds or/ and the worms, you tell me.

Normally we say birds but it's been raining, lightly, so I'm guessing there are plenty of worms out there too. They have there own smell if there are a lot of them. I slept longer than yesterday when I got up at six am a rarity for me. I'm supposed to get eight hours per my counselor but this is the first summer when I've been able to get up earlier on my own without resetting my alarm six times, really just one extra. I've not used an alarm at all other than Saturdays when I work at noon. I don't want that to be the day I might oversleep. Heading to make my cuppa coffeee and hang for a bit here till I really start my day. Maybe I'll begin with reading my Bible which I need to get better at doing so God can heal the crevices in my mind. Something we all have, the crevices, but most of us aren't willing to admit it. (You can barely see the rain or the wet street here)

We don't have too many mosquitos just yet. But I'm guessing there are not more in the lakes that flooded last week, or was it the week before?

Have a great day over there. Yes. Reading Bible helps you understand and know more about what happened in the past how everyone came to know God. How he helped those people who needed some help.

Our schedule varies so I'm never sure when we will be up. Yeah, if it is raining, the worms will be out there, but can the birds really be too far behind?

Probably not. But I've never seen a bird trying to eat a worm as it crawls across the driveways. Maybe they wait until I'm not watching. It's also been some yesterday since I've seen a lot of worms in the pavement during or after a rain. But if you've seen that once or twice you expect it ever after.

I'll admit it, my head is full of crevices! We've gotten a week of solid, heavy thunderstorms, but luckily I managed to get in a full day of fun at the river with plenty of sunshine with the exception of one briefly passing storm. My son and I are going kayaking this morning for my birthday, then him and my daughter will be taking me out to dinner afterward. Looking forward to another exciting day in the weeklong celebration of my birthing anniversary!

Do you always get a week of birthday activities? Or is this s special number for you? I saw where the picture on your post was indeed the early bird reference and not shopping as I said.

I can see the drops of rain on the very wet road. I saw a bird looking for food during the rain we had. We had almost 3 inches and where my son lives, he had 4. I saw the river and the bay today. Very high.

Hopefully the river and Bay water recede before anymore rains show up.

@just4him the rain expected for last week and this one went elsewhere. How did you all do there? Because our stress is in a valley although we can't see it much of the weather skirts around us, but not always unfortunately.

@MarshaMusselman That would be good. The rivers are at the bank's edge from what I saw yesterday when I was out with my friend. We have more rain coming this week. I hope it won't be much.
