National Biscuit Day Put a Pillow on Your Fridge Day - In the 1900s people would put pieces of cloth or linen from their bedrooms in their larders which was believed to bring good fortune and prosperity. Larders were replaced with modern refrigerators -- This is a new take on an old tradition. 1919 - Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity is tested and later confirmed. 2015 - One World Observatory at One World Trade Center opens. 1917 - John F. Kennedy was born. He was the 35th President of the United States from 1961 until his assassination in November, 1963. The majority of his work as President dealt with relations with the Soviet Union and Cuba. 1958 - Annette Bening was born. She is an American movie and stage actress who married Warren Beatty in 1992. Some of her movies: Grifters, American Beauty, Being Julia, The Kids are All Right and Mars Attacks!
