I am having porridge for my late lunch/early dinner today (Saturday). My mom cooked it for our afternoon snack. But since I don’t like to eat the pork viand for lunch, I’d have this instead. It is so good! I have finished two bowls in one sitting
I’ll have two cups of green tea afterward and two cups of warm water with apple cider vinegar.
Any plans this weekend? As for me, just the usual.

Porridge is basically broken wheat (Dalia), and it can be made sweet, as well as salty(with vegetables like Carrots, potatoes etc).

@jayanth_77 I think Oats are also a variation of Porridge, and they can also be made tastier with vegetables and some spices.

I love porridge! Sometimes I have cereal for dinner when I'm not very hungry, or rice porridge, called "okayu" in Japanese.

Porridge is light and healthy. Interestingly, in my recent Online order, I have got a porridge, after a long time.
And Porridge also reminds me of the classical children's story "Three Bears and Goldilocks" - a favorite of my kids and mine.

Wait, I'll look it up online. Because I am not sure as my mom is the one who prepared it.
