For us here who chose not to pay bills during the two month community quarantine period, the day has come. The collection dates are set already and we need to pay. However, the due on that particular period were divided to equal installment and added to the current bill. Some companies give 4 installment plan while others six. If you pay your bills on time, you do not have problem.

If the budget is enough then it's OK to pay in full.

@ZedSmart I have the money to pay but being in business, wife wants to roll the money first and make the electric company bleed and not let them get hold of the money whole. Our electric bill reached 18k + or more than 360 dollars for 3 momths, I tried to pay the March and April bill of 7000 pesos plus but SM said " one billing statement for every month " which is stupid since 2 months were combined in 1 bill, they only accepted my 4,000 , really stupid since they won't take my money. I will pay the other May bill of 10k but that is what wife does not want me to pay because she's really pissed with the electric company lol. All the rest of my other bills are paid already.

@kepweng Philippines has one of the highest electric rates in the world because it's a monopoly. I live in a medium sized modest house, we spent a lot of our time in aircon rooms during the lockdown because the heat was terrible, we watched a lot of movies and my 3 children are in the house that's why the bill surged
