Isn't that a crazy idea to distribute live chickens? To be honest, I couldn't butcher a live chicken.

@Ghrayze1981 of course we have to be thankful for the graces that come our way. But still, I cannot come to terms that the local government would give away chickens unless... those chickens were donated by a farm.

Will the chicken lay eggs or does the LGU expect people to butcher their own chicken?
The gesture is good but there are a lot of things that can be donated to people that is better than a live chicken.
Just my two cents.

May be for the eggs live chicken is being given. So that people eat eggs daily and stay healthy. If dressed checked is given then they need to give it daily.

It's been a long time here in here since the government gave us. And proudly. They are laying eggs now and some already hatched
