Today Breakfast : Chapati

Hi friends, Hope all are safe in your home..
I just finished my breakfast too.. And how for laundry duty.. Before that I spend little time hear..
For today breakfast I prepare Chapati.. All most all over Indian this dish well known.. Using wheat flour we prepare this..
It don't take more time but that flour must be need to mix before at least 30 minutes before cook..
I think it simply look like pan cake.. My kids like this with jam.. So on applying jam we prepare roll to them.. So they eat very interestingly..
Can I know how many members known about chapati.. And what combinations you take??

depends on the spread you use because its plain flat bread. It is basically a tortilla Indian version

Not sweet but it tastes like bread. Made by kneading wheat powder and water with little salt and oil. This kneaded mixture is rolled into small balls which is then flattened and then baked on a flat pan over a gas stove.
You can eat it with any curry both veg and non veg.

Just adding salt I prepare but there is lot of varieties with it.. Some add palak leaves, potatoe stuff also they know as palak parata, aloo parata... Hear they add some spices with it so no need any combination for it..
But today I prepare plain chapati lol.

That's nice and Yes chapati is very well known here in our country. I like to eat it with pickle a lot but we also use with sabji like potato, brinjal and etc.

But pizza dough is different, chapati dough is different.. Use pizza dough we prepare Nan it also looking same but white in colour..

Chapathi is my favourite. along with it you can have potato curry or curd mixed with little sugar or any vegetable curry.

@Lavanya15 Upma is simple to make and you can make different type of Upma like Semia ( Vermicelli) Upma , rava ( semolina) Upma. You can add potato, onion, ground nut, carrot, etc and make it more tasty.

Yes all are good combination but today I prepare for my kids only so with jam they enjoyed.. For me I prepare Uppma only..
