Minor in TV Programming

I was out of this site yesterday; I stayed for only a couple of hours because I felt the sweat dripping at my back despite the ceiling and stand fans rotating. yes, it was so hot and humid yesterday, and rain did not fall as well.
Last night, my siblings wanted to watch NetFlix, but nothing appeared on screen. I and my son 'joined our heads' to fix the TV; to no avail. No NetFlix yesterday, but I thought it was better because I went to bed earlier than the usual 10:30PM.
This morning, my son switched on the TV. Surprisingly, there appeared the black and white "not programmed" screen. I immediately informed my brother, and I quickly used the remote control of the TV. I suspected the programming was the problem. After careful inspection and second-guessing, I was able to find the settings but it was in different language. I searched for the English subtitle and walla! it is now good!
Now, my sister is watching a NetFlix movie.
Truly, I am a bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate,major in Maternal and Child Nursing, minor in Electronics and TV Programming. That is another feather added to my cap.

Last night, my mother also said that I am their nurse, together with other jobs I handle at home this covid season hihi

@brokenbee for me, i seldom go out. i had my check-up 2 months ago, and i was seen by my cardiologist in a 'confessional box' because my doctor was seated opposite where i was seated too. he wore 2 masks and had the shield. now, i do not want to go out even though no pass is needed anymore.
it is so terribly hoy here.
by the way, only my son goes out for errands, because we siblings at home are already SC. kid brother lives in his house at the back.

@ridingbet hihihi yes Ate.. I am the "ALAY" and the "ALALAY" right now.. LOL
I do the marketing.. and budgeting..
I used to go out without my home quarantine pass because the qpass at home had my mother's name but she can't go out because she's already a senior citizen. I asked our neighbor who is a brgy health worker to get one for me but she said there's no available qpass because our captain was also under quarantine.
So I take extra care whenever I went out before. But when our regional director announced after about two months that they will be strict in implementing those protocols, I already asked for my qpass and it's good I got one.
Now, I can go out freely during our schedule...

Good that it's fixed now and you all can enjoy it.

i agree with you. my brother would often say in his loud voice:" i hope it wil rain hard with strong winds". we counteract it with, "No, no winds, just rain"

@ridingbet true. it was such a relief when i learned how to open a link as a new tab.
what would be nice, though, is to have something to hold the tablet above you while you're lying down so your arms don't get sore.
