Dealing with stage fright.

Some few years back, I was a mess with public speaking. And I don't mean just those with a stage and a large crowd. Even a small group was a problem. I would want the ground to open and swallow me or to just cancel the speaking and run away. But I decided to deal with this fear. I learnt to remember the following when going to speak:
1. I have something to say.
2. Life is fun, speaking to my fellow human beings is fun so do it joyfully.
3. Take a deep breath and relax.
4. It is not as bad as it looks.
5. I shouldn't worry about what others will think.
6. I shouldn't listen to my own negative thoughts.
Do you have stage fright too? How do you deal with it?

@Butterfingers ooh nice. Actually over thinking is usually the main cause of stage fright. I am glad you could deal with that.
