What could be the cause people being hot tempered?

I have hot tempered bothered brother and sister. Both are so hard to deal with as they get angry so fast and it can turn to a fight anytime. With time, I have learnt to accept them as they are and try to understand them even amidst a fight. I always wonder what causes some people to be more hot tempered than others. Do you know why? Please tell me.

It can be genetic or because of other things.

Yeah, I read somewhere that it can be inherited.

@a_jerobon It can cause them health issues if they didnt learn how to control it.

Sounds like a sibling thing. Not good though. Probably springs from desperation. Or frustration.

because of the hot weather, for women maybe because she get her period day.
