Can we have True-to-Life Heroes in this problematic world?

I am currently watching Bourne Ultimatum. I like Matt Damon's character in this Bourne series. He looks as a real hero in this real world of problems like that one causing riots in the US. Some heroes in movies should be present today. With the likes of Jason Bourne, Mike Banning, Bryan Mills, Ethan Hunt, or even James Bond and John McClane, our world would be a better place to live in. Can you mention some heroines who can join forces with the heroes I just mentioned? Lara Croft would be one, and Charlie's Angels too.
