Beautiful Butterflies / myLot

I adore butterflies, one of the nicer things about this lockdown is the fact I've been spending more time than usual in the garden. Last year I planted a couple of butterfly bushes and now they're starting to encourage butterflies into the garden - there are no flowers on the bushes yet but the butterflies still seem to be able to smell their way to them, they soon flutter off when they realise there's no flowers or nectar there at the moment! Soon, hopefully. The photo I've added to my discussion is a stunning blue butterfly I saw last year when we went to the local butterfly farm, we go quite often but sadly it's closed due to the pandemic and isn't likely to open any time soon as it's not exactly the kind of place you can social distance in.

I have seen more beautiful butterflies in other parts of the world. Where I live, we have small orange ones and that´s all.

The ones we have in the garden are usually little orange or white ones - still pretty but I'd love some properly colourful ones to make their way here

I love butterflies too but it is quite hard to take a picture of them.

Yes, it is! I'm not very good at getting photos of them in the garden as they're too small and fluttery but at the butterfly farm they seem calmer and stay in one place!

That sounds like a lovely place to visit. My sister loves butterflies so much she got a tattoo of one on her shoulder. I like them, but not so much I'd get a tattoo.
