One IMEI number with 13000 mobiles

Hi friend, now India we having another issue that is nearly 13000 having same IMEI number..
It giving another shock to us..Recently one police officer mobile getting unexpected hang so he given to their control team for finding the reason..on checking they find that nearly 13000 mobiles manufacturing with only one IMEI number.. It give big shock to us..but they not reveal manufacturing that mobile company details.. Don't know the reason why they hiding those details..
So be careful on buying mobiles now my friends.

I also read.. Some says that is Vivo brand.. But not giving clear details.

we also can't name the company because a company's reputation at stake. The company is a reputed brand and one of the top 3 brands of India

@Lavanya15 yes I agree . most news channel are not mentioning the name because they fear of legal repurcussions .

@jayanth_77 may be due to this reason they hiding but it visible soon..
Vivo Communication Technology Co. Ltd. is a Chinese technology company owned by BBK Electronics.. This is another reason for hiding.
But sure it visible soon, one more thing this news only spread in social media not giving any news in news channels too.

I have read the news today . Police have filed a case against the company.
The news article shared below.
Meerut Police cross checked with the cyber cell following a complaint. The investigation unearthed that almost 13,500 smartphones were running with the same IMEI number.

Yes I also read news about it.. It give big issue in future I think.. How this posse, why they create like those mobiles with one IMEI number, for this what they get..
Lot of questions we have but answers are not getting lol.

it's VIVO as mentioned in the news article. I am not sure if the company has accepted the allegation or given a reply.
