In Ooty, the Todda huts show history of Nilgiri tribes.

Ooty at one point of time used to be called Nilgiri mountains. It was because from the valleys the hills looked blue due to presence of clouds and mist. The Todda huts were used by Nilgiri tribes. They still stay in the area. The place has beautiful hills, lakes, tea gardens.
