In Thimphu in Bhutan there is a big statue of Gautama Buddha.

Thimphu is the present capital of Bhutan. It is situated on high mountains. In addition to the beautiful flora and fauna of the place there is a special attraction. There is a huge statue of Lord Buddha in the place. Majority of Bhutanese people are Buddhists.
