Pepper Overload!

I am going to have to have a talk with Mother Nature! I think she is trying to drive me crazier than I am. This is the rainy season and it was 100% dry here yesterday and today while Miami, the Florida West Coast and the mid-south got flooded! Okay, I can handle that but I just know she is getting the heavy rains ready for Thursday when I go to The Dollar Tree and Winn-Dixie! Then I look out my window both south and east (see above) and I see the beautiful views at 7 PM she is providing just for me!! There is more to all this! For a year I have been growing a pepper plant and each month I get ONE pepper. Over the months I have grown 4 more plants from the original using the seeds every month from that ONE pepper. The past few months from the 5 plants I have gotten a total of ONE pepper and it seems the plants take turns. Yesterday I saw a pepper in the window plant and as I watering the other 4 in the living room I couldn't believe it as each plant had ONE pepper so now I have a total of 5 peppers all different sizes, none big enough to make stuffed peppers, but I am going to see just how big they do grow before I start chopping them up for salads and cooking. I just might get them--and Mother Nature--all confused and take seeds from all 5 plants and make a new pot with them! Let's see if they can do the pepper a month trick!!

That is really strange about only one pepper a month. Do you think it's because the plants are inside instead of outside?

@RasmaSandra It doesn't work that way--I am getting only 1 pepper per plant per month!

@GreatMartin how about one pepper for each day of each month so June gives you 30 and so on

It sounds like you're getting some success at last, I've had mixed success growing them in the past. I bought a basil plant today, which will hopefully survive long enough to go in lots of pastas.

I am wondering how you are getting only 1 pepper from each pepper plant. You should be getting lot of pepper in one plant. Are you growing bell pepper or black pepper variety.
