Got some weeding done just now but I was out of it earlier, and I invested in some neck fans for our employees

We got one job done today and another one a bit farther. We hoped to finish the second one since we did some of the outside a few weeks ago. While we did make some progress we found out a major storm was headed our way with the possibility of a tornado which, thankfully, we didn't get to my knowledge. The storm was moving at 55 miles per hour meaning it would arrive within half an hour from the next town over.
We finished what we were doing and gathered our things and got out of there. None of us wanted to be running into our homes if it was raining so hard.
It rained then and again a few other times later in the afternoon. The barometric pressure must have been off the wall because I had the worst sinus headache that I've ever had and couldn't do much more than sleep and read a little. I did push through to make supper and then want too hungry to eat much. Finally I took a sinus pill which finally helped or maybe the pressure finally diminished.
Tonight I got outside and did some major weeding. We may pay for a lawn service because we can't keep up and we need a lot done. I don't know yet whether we will be able to afford it but certainly at least the mowing for now. I want my weeds to me more at Bay before they come for a look see. Because of the rain the weeds pulled out by the roots more easily and I got some done near out driveway and near our porch which are the two pics here. I have pulled of grass, but you can't see that very well here.
Today I got one of my Amazon orders of personal neck fans we can wear indoors if we're required by the state or the customers when we clean their inside windows. It's hot enough wearing the masks themselves even without working in them. I'm hoping no one let's any down and leaves then somewhere.
I don't know yet whether I'll ask for a small deposit or what. They only cost about $22.00 each so not too bad. I may also put the employees initials on each one to keep track of them better

I'm not sure I would have caught that particular pun although I use them too. The fans also have a place for essential oils to blow and led colored lights. Not sure the benefit of that other than for fun maybe.

@DianneN I hadn't thought of that. I'm trying to find a lawn care company that will do anything we need it I can afford it but it I need to mow until then I could use it then.
The run about $23.00 from Amazon. I went with the seller with the most reviews although I didn't look at any. The ones I bought have three settings along with colored LED lights and a section near the fan opens to put an aromas there.
Let me know if my order shows or just the fan itself please.

@MarshaMusselman I'd love to try the fans when working in the garden.

Please let me know how well the neck fans work. Those look awesome, and if you say they work well, I may just order a bunch for my lifeguards as well. I'm always looking for ways to keep them cool.

@moffittjc I was going to suggest you but one since they're not expensive.
I put out businesses name on them and the initials of those that will wear them to help keep track of ones misplaced as we're always forgetting something. I've not decided yet whether to have them give me a deposit or not but that idea might not benefit me in the long run.

They came down in price to 17.00 since I ordered them. Dinner suggested using them while gardening and I'm thinking mowing too unless we find a service to do that for us.

I have one of these fans too. Although I am not sure that I would use them outside my own home.

@MarshaMusselman Yes. Mine lights up like a disco if you want it to. I would only do that to annoy my wife!

@garymarsh6 mine lights up too and you can put aromas in the fan part. I put a small sorry of lavender although I'd rather do a citrus, but it wasn't as handy.

I found out about them from a girl at work that if in charge a lot so she can't have another type of personal fan with her and this first the bill. She found out about them via a shopper that shops for customers through an app our store uses.
I prob wouldn't use mine there but maybe when I'm in the homes of people and needing to wear a mask. Especially the homes of the elderly as they tend to keep the heat on even when it's warm outside.

I've been reading a book on my Kindle on my phone too. I've not done any reading it not much for a free years and now I seem to be in the mood again. It maybe it's because I took off all genes from my phone and what else can I do when I have a break away from home?
I try to weed after it rains as they pull out easier.
My windows in the house are in desperate need but next week when I'm off from my cashiering job I needed to tackle wet boxes in my basement so I don't have online there later. Then if I get enough done maybe I can do the windows too.

@MarshaMusselman There is always more to do.
I always have an audio book on my phone for driving and an e-book on my phone to read when waiting. Handy.

I would never have known there was such a thing either until a couple worker wore one. It's nice for when you have to wear a mask outside the home.
