Good Afternoon everyone, the weekend is upon us. What do you all have planned?
Today I woke up at 7:30 to use the bathroom then laid back down and woke up at 10am. I am on my 2nd cup of coffee right now & watching a lifetime movie. Soon I need to shower for the day.
I have a few errands to run this afternoon, I have to go to the bank then to big lots & then if it's not busy I'm going to stop and wash my car. It hasn't been done in quite awhile and it sure could use it. Then I plan to come back home and relax.
It's going to be cooler this weekend only 71 today, 59 tomorrow & 65 on Sunday so atleast we'll get a few days of not needing the AC. I might sit outside for a bit later on and read my book but depends on how warm it is, i hate freezing lol.
So I hope you all have a great weekend. I'm off to get breakfast/lunch & then get a shower and get ready for the day. Have a good one.

Well, I didn't plan on starting my weekend having to replace my AC in my house, but that's how my Friday started. That was a nice setback of 5 grand. But at least now I have a brand-new AC system that should last me many, many years. And it is a high-efficiency unit, so my overall electric bill should go down now.
I had also planned on spending some time at the springs this weekend, but it is going rain all weekend so now it looks like it will be a weekend of indoor activity. And by indoor activity I mean lots of myLotting! lol

@moffitjc well that's a bummer. Is it central AC? That's alot of money. We just have window Ac units here which were going to have to replace next year probably. It's a nice cool weekend here no rain until next week is what I see in the forecast.

@Blondie2222 Yes, it's central AC. I'm not worried about the cost, because I have home warranty insurance that will reimburse me of all the cost except for a $250 deductible.

@marlina That's cool. My house isn't big enough to have central A/C. And we don't get too many hot days to where it would become useful.

Sounds like our temps for the weekend. We had a very nice weekend here. Today is good too. Tomorrow the heat is back with the humidity.
I had a dinner party on Friday, and spent the rest of the weekend working on Legacy and published it last night.

@just4him glad you had a nice party and your weekend went well. I had my quiet weekend at home and now a busy work week. I think this is my last week of furlough so next week is back to 5 days a week again.

Friday I was pretty busy cleaning. I cleaned out the litter boxes (I thought it was going to be a rainy day today and it's not. lol), I cleaned my magic scarf/face mask, I did the laundry, and I cleaned a tumbler lid. Saturday I went to petsmart to get some more litter and got groceries. Later on I had to clean up cat throw up again. Sunday I didn't do much.

@Jessy3236 Sounds like a busy weekend. I am going to be doing my cleaning tomorrow before company arrives. I'm having my niece Wed night til friday evening and then my nephew is coming for the weekend. We are also having a cookout for fathers day. I had to wash my face mask today so that I could wear it thursday when I get my haircut - i'm so excited about that lol.
