Rain but no rain

It happened to be many a times that when I leave my home to meet my friend staying a few kilometres away it rains very heavily and I am fully covered with rain coat and gumboots.
When I reach the friend's house it's bone dry there and I find my friend laughing at me for coming to his house in a raincoat while the weather is hot and sunny.
Did you face such funny weather situation?

What I use is the umbrella so it is easy. When the rain stops, I just fold the umbrella and I look normal for a dry day.

If you are riding a scooter or a bike it's not possible to use an umbrella. A raincoat is required.

@jayanth_77 oh, sorry I didn't consider the transport you are using. I thought you are riding in a limousine.

@Alexandoy Nice that you didn't imagine me on an helicopter. I wouldn't have needed even an umbrella as I would have lander on my friend's roof.

Sort of. I remember once in elementary school we were in a line waiting for the teacher, and it was raining right in front of us. Looking out on the playground, though, it was bone dry.

yes it does happen within the same campus. I usually see it very common while driving on the road. you can actuall see the border of the sunbaked road and the rain drenched road .

Yes that happens quiet frequently. sometimes the weather is cloudy and we avoid going out expecting rain but it never rains.

Sometimes is it ambarassing when you are completely wet while you reach a dry place.

Yes, the weather has been crazy and unpredictable lately but no I haven't had that experience because mostly if it's raining heavily I would wait for the rain to subside if it's not really something urgent.

Yes it funny. It doesn't rain equally in all places when it's a passing cloud.
