Do You Bargaining In Such Situation

Hello fellow mylotters, Now I'm going to discuss about something really serious that i'm going through right now. Today one of my hostel's roommate come back and she was at home for corona pandemic situation and she has 3 months due payment of the hostel, hostel owner consider just 25% of the rent but she was expecting 50% off and the woman whom owner hired for the hostel responsibility she and my roommate was bargaining on it. The women's salary our cook's salary and other's salary depend on this money we pay. So she is bargaining for that and my roommate bargaining because she was helpless in this corona and that's why she was at home so she deserves 50% off . So what do you think? Who should win on this bargaining ? Thanks for reading

I think she should pay as the owner also needs the money for bills to be paid.

@thelme55 yes she went back her home but she tried a lot for more discounts. I don't know she wins or not because they'll never share if they get more discount. If she will share other girls also may ask for more discount that's why

She still needs to pay because the hostel owner also has obligations to pay as well.

I think everyone has to be very understanding in situations like this, and do whatever is necessary to work out a compromise. It's nobody's fault that this pandemic hit, so people shouldn't be penalized because of it.

I think she should pay. It's like a hotel room being saved for her all that time. The landlord is running a business and could have rented her room to someone else.

I think the owner should give her a discount because of covid. here, Some land lords don,'t even charge their.tenants.
