~Worrying Is The Solution To This~

Isn't it rather frustrating when a fire you intended to kindle in your heart isn't blazing as much as you'd love to see it burn? I could remember a few years ago a neighbor of mine, whose hubby went out to work and never returned. . .ah! Two days had past still no sign of him, no calls, text . . .no contact made, worse still,he never called in to explain reasons as to why he hasn't returned home for two good days. Now,you'll agree with me that, for a married man that doesn't look healthy at all when you look at the situation from a perspective. However,on the other hand, the wife just sat at home with no effort of reporting the incident to any security agencies ,no attempts to seek help from well meaning families ,neighbours or even friends. . . She just sat at home crying her eyes out,but something terrible happened to the missing husband. . .guess what? oh it feels so sad . . . Nada! "he didn't die", I know that's what may have been lurking next on your mind right? Then suddenly, appearing in front of the missing man's residence, are some police officers along with an unkept, dirty and tattered looking, lanking, seemingly starved man with bruises all over him that, suggested he had been involved in some awful incident ,after the police officers' explanation of the missing man's horrible experience to the man's wife. . . That was when it dawned on her that, her husband had been kidnapped and all she did was sit and cry at home and did nothing to save the situation. Listen, this can be likened to our everyday lives. The bad thing about worrying is you can't find any help in worries, most especially when you did nothing about it. You only hurt yourself but, here's comes the coolest part. When you leave your past never leave foot print so that, your past can't walk up to your present. . . Have you ever been worried sick of anything before ?

I wish I will not going to be like that woman. If anything happens next time, I must tell the police.

That's terrible what happened to him. I'm sure I worried in the past, especially with small children. Today, I don't worry about anything. I put it all in God's hands. He's got this.

That's sad! It is not rational to keep mum and not report such incidents to police. But I am not sure what was going in her mind to make her do so. So I would not judge her.

The lady must have thought her husband left her and must have been cursing her fate. Instead she should have reported to police immediately if not reachable over phone. Her husband wouldn't have to suffer the torture from the kidnappers.

@Lavanya15 As much as I want to agree with you,I also think the rational thing she should have done is call the police to report the situation, that's just about the reasonable decision to make in such cases right ?
