I read an article where a dog was found panting inside a car with all the windows closed . It was struggling to breath in the hot sun.
A good samaritan saw the dog and asked the people around but couldn't find the owner and so to save the dog he broke upon one of the windows and rescued the dog from certain death.
Do you feel the owner should be punished for cruelty?
Should pets be left behind in cars while Owners dine or shop outside?
What is the solution to avoid such a situation?

Let me relate a true story that happened in Quezon City. A guy saw a dog inside the car. The owner of the car was in the nearby restaurant that they own. The guy asked the security guard in a nearby establishment but cannot give an answer. The guy called a cop. That was when the owners came because of the commotion. What do you think happened next?

The cop broke the glass door and penalised the car owner.

That`s really horrible. You must not let your pet left alone all closed inside a hot car
The owner must be given some warning about it

@m_audrey6788 what will you do if you had a pet and want to go out ? Just leave the pet or take it in your car.

There is no scope for showing leniency as it's a crime to put another life in danger. Tomorrow it be a child or even a old person who can't speak for themselves.

yes calling the cops would be the best thing to dog. Some pet owner are very cruel. They should at least leave some glass open for ventilation or leave the dog at home.

So when are going out of town, what do you do. Leave your dog at home or take along with you.

It's not a good thing to the left the dog inside the car with close windows. It's tough to take a breath inside it and glad to know someone broke the glass and take out to the dog. In outside countries they took care of pets well so sure he gets some warning of fine if their.

Yes it's difficult to breathe inside a locked car. Warning and fine is needed to punish those who are cruel towards their pets.

yes you are right. The car window must be downed a little to let fresh air in. During summer dogs should never be left inside cars.

Dogs, children and seniors should NEVER be left in a car when it's warm/hot outside. The person should be prosecuted.
