I got a call from my acupuncturist around four, I think it was. He said that some wires got crossed over there at the Health Center, which was understandable. He explained he was calling because the procedure now was for him to call to see what "work" I needed done, and then when I got there to check in outside the building (basically what I do to get my meds) and then I'd go in and he'd do the acupuncture and when I was done, I'd leave. Basically, he said, the idea was to shorten the appointment so that I'd be in there as little time as possible. "New normal", as they call it. So, my appointment is Monday at 2:45 p.m. A tiny bit of normalcy...

I'm giggling at the thought of an acupuncturist getting his wires crossed, because when I had acupuncture, the needles were like itty bitty wires.

I wonder how it feels to be pierced by dozens of needles. It must hurt.
