Where do you want to travel?

I’m a new user who wants to travel the world in the future. I dream of going from place to place, meeting new people and learning their culture.
I would love to try different cuisines that represent a particular country and pick up new words from their language. I have a long list of countries that I really want to visit and I would start on exploring Asia but I’m still unsure because I would also like to go to Brazil and also visit Switzerland.
Where is your dream destination? What are the fun stories from your last trip? Would you live in another that isn’t where you came from?

I've been to many countries around the world, but still have so many left that I want to see. I think high up on my list are Russia, China and Germany. But right now, Australia tops my list.

You and my dad. He never wanted to go anywhere he couldn't drive to but he would drive a long way with no problem. My mom convinced him to fly to Hawaii once and from then on they flew somewhere every year, including to see me in Japan. He still liked driving best, though. Me, I'd rather take public transportation.

I've been to quite a lot of foreign countries in my life and have no dream destination left. I visited my last dream destination, Uzbekistan, two years ago. I had waited to do so for more than half a century. Waiting for such a long time can lead to disappointment when the wish finally comes true. But it was a wonderful trip and I liked it from beginning to end.
I would never want to live in another country because for me language is important. If I didn't know the language perfectly, I wouldn't feel good.

I live in Japan and came from the US and Canada. I love it here. I would like to travel and see a lot of volcanoes and mountainous landscapes. (I like geology and scenery.)

Yes, that would really be necessary especially if it’s somewhere that you don’t speak the language. I would love to try living in different countries like spending a year just to experience and immerse myself in another culture and be able to meet new people.
