What will happen to me?

I don’t if I’m the only one, I don’t think I am the only one but I can’t help but be anxious about my future. I am a university student and in two years I’ll be graduating and I still haven’t figured out what I would do after that. I don’t know what job I’ll have or if I would ever have one. I always worry and overthink so much that I’ll fail and I will never achieve the things I want and have dreamt of since forever. Is this just paranoia? I’m just really scared of not being able to be the person I’ve been wanting to be. The uncertainty of the future also contributes to that.

Same with me! I also will be graduating after 2 years and still confused about my future. May I know what lesson you learned on campus? Maybe we can work together someday

@seserica Well, that's good. I am a fashion design student but I also a freelancer. I planning to make my own business about fashion, but I'm not sure I can build my own business. So I hope to work with someone, even very grateful to meet people from abroad to add relations. Are you interested in fashion business?

@fahmita_ Yes, I am. Ever since I’ve watched the devil wears prada, my interest in fashion increased so much. I wish you luck in your plans. I hope you’ll be successful.

This is normal among university students. I felt that same way when I was in the same position many years ago, Afraid of what the future held for me after graduation. Worried about finding a job and a place to live. But all that worry was for nothing. As I got closer to graduation, many different opportunities landed in my lap. It gave me hope and excitement as I started my new journey into adulthood. Don't worry Princess, you'll be just fine!

I think you are feeling quite normal things. Just try to take one semester at a time, with the belief that every step takes you closer to good things that await you.

Yeah, I will. I should start thinking that it’s better if I take thing slow and not pressure myself.

I'm sure there are others that feel the same way. What would you like to do? What do you enjoy doing?

Hello there kabayan! The situation now makes us all think of what the future will bring us. I understand that, you are not alone in this. We just need to think positive and believe there will be a good future for all of us, free from sickness and worry.

Relax and calm down! You have two more years before you. Concentrate on your studies. You can worry later! Maybe it would be a good idea if you talked about this with other students. You're definitely not alone with such thoughts. It may help you if you find other young people with the same worries. You can also try to find a grown-up person, may be a professor but not someone who is your actual professor and has to give you marks, and talk about your feelings. If you are a religious person, you can talk to a pastor or a priest. Maybe learning yoga can also help you to relax.

Thank you for all your suggestions although I’m not really one to talk about this kind of thing to others even if they’re close to me but I’ll try to improve myself.
