Need Nebraska Ideas

I am looking for some ideas as to what to do or see in Nebraska, or where to stay. By things to do/things to see I mean predominantly "outdoor" things (or COVID-safe activities or places). It is a state I will be traveling through in a couple of weeks on my way home to Minnesota from Colorado. I have finally had enough of being cooped up. We are on a budget, social distancing, but ned a place to get some food, rest our eyes, and maybe do a "little" bit of touring while we are out there. For some reason, Nebraska is a state I have never been to, even though it's almost adjacent to my own state!
It has to be somewhere off of I-80 as that will be our route... Looking on the map I see Grand Island, Lincoln, Omaha.
Have you ever been in that area, or have anything to suggest?

Wish l could help, but cannot. Went to College World Series in Omaha a few years ago. No help here.

Not at all! I like Colorado too. There is so much to see. I have visited a hadnful of times and still have lots left to see. Hyou ever been to the rocky moutnains? I am excited that the park is reopening what with everything being closed for coivd.

No idea for I have never been to Nebraska. I only heard the place in some lines in a song like "My Elusive Dream" sung by Tom Jones.
