Spent About An Hour And A Half at the Library

Today I focused on isolating the books that I had marked to be tossed, ripped covers, pages missing, that kind of things, and took a few that I had set to be donated, also worked on trying to get Devotionals in one area. It’s another scorcher today, so I didn’t stay long. I also took a few books home, I wanted to look at, we’ve got some really good titles, and some books that fit in well, but some don’t fit, so I’ll continue to go through those, as well as setting aside the titles that are in good enough shape to be donated. Right now though, I’m cooking dinner, Cornish Game Hens, Potatoes and Baked Beans! Tomorrow I plan on heading back to the library long enough to swap the titles we no longer need, for some books that are in better shape. I will say the majority of the books are in good shape though, and I’m grateful for that.

I was going to donate part of my books to a library just before the COVID started. Now I will have to wait.

I’ve been donating some of mine, and discarding some in very poor condition. I’m surprised at how many books are there, and I’m told we actually have more lol!

@Michellekidwell I have always said that if my family and close friends had not borrowed my books (without ever returning then) I woukd have needed to build a bigger house

I really enjoy the library. I think it may be opening for real again July 1. I think right now they might just have curbside service.

Yes, definitely, I’ll be taking Wednesday and Friday off though because I have to get the cats and dogs food. I still try to by two months worth at a time.

Yes they do, but I have to take into consideration the condition and content of the books as well.

@Michellekidwell That's right. Books have their own personality too.
