This past community theater season was cut short due to the pandemic. I was costume designer for 2 of the 4 shows that were on stage. The shows were Driving Miss Daisy and Greater Tuna. On Saturday night, the Talley Awards for the community theater was at the amphitheater at a local park that is on the river. It was the best venue available where people could best practice social distancing and to celebrate the efforts of everyone involved. All three actors in Driving Miss Daisy won awards with one for Best Actress In A Leading Role , the second for Best Actor In A Supporting Role , and the third for Best Actor In Leading Role Runner-Up . To top that off, Driving Miss Daisy was awarded for Best Production.
