What needs have you ran out of during this Pandemic?

Two months ago at the height of the first quarantine, the very first thing that became very scarce here was rubbing alcohol / antiseptic. What frustrates me that most was that people have plenty of it starts to overprice it online. Good thing the govt. intervened. Now, it's not as much scarce anymore. I heard in other countries, bathroom tissue was extremely scarce. I wonder if it still was the same. The reason why I'm talking about this now is because we might return back into ECQ (enchanced community quarantine). One of mom's friend came here and to us that her neighbor were tested positive. Hope you are all safe and stay inside.

I keep a fully stocked freezer and pantry, so I had plenty of everything. Now, it's very difficult to get sanitizing wipes and sprays. The toilet paper is plentiful now.

Hello @DianneN good for you guys over there. Here, I guess we didn't much for the toilet paper, except Grandma was in need of it.

Panic sets in when you look around to see there isn't any bathroom tissue. Hope your mom's friend's neighbor recovers. :)

I was able to find what I needed on the internet, even if not the same brand or quite the same quality. I bought a ton of toilet paper on a site called quill, it's just that it's the kind you find in public buildings. It's only me here and the stuff isn't actually scratchy or anything. I still have a lot of that left, but now I can get my preference, the quilted northern, locally. Same with paper towels, I just bought an off brand which did fine. Oh, the hand sanitizers I couldn't find but someone I regularly order goods from sends me a small bottle every time I order. Just happenstance, I didn't know they were going to -- so I lucked out on that.

Hello @CinnamonGrl lol I forgot the power of online purchasing. In here, it's cheaper when we go to the stores, but we had to fall in line for hours.

For weeks toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, Lysol or Clorox wipes, spray cleaner, meat, bread, and sometimes canned goods were in short supply. This has not been a fun year.

@Letranknight2015 I only found a mask a couple of weeks ago. Before that, I had one made out of a sock.
