Fickle-minded weather?

While I was on Twitter this afternoon, my mobile phone sounded its alarm of a notification: weather. It was printed "Expect 100% chance of rain at 3PM today".
I told my brother about this notification and he sighed relief since he always wished for rain. I said it might happen because it is gloomy now.
Alas! It was already 4PM, until now at 7:20PM, there was no rain. It is hot again, so I will have my evening bath after I post this discussion.
The weather is really fickle-minded. the 100% chance of rain did not happen, maybe the nimbus clouds were diverted to another region? Or there was traffic up there in the skies?
My brother is watering the plants. I am leaving now for my bath.
See you tomorrow, the 1st of July 2020, co-mylotters!

haha! yes. there is a saying here (i don't know if this is true), that when the moon has a circle of cloud around it, it may mean no rain for the coming weeks. and it the red ants come out to gather their food, it means there will be rains in the coming days.

the clouds might have dissipated already that was why the rains disintegrated.

but they are just forecast so anything can happen. the trouble with us here at home especially my brother is, he hopes for floods and rains when his phone flashes that notification feed.

@ridingbet Yes, they are just forecast and we don´t have to believe it.

i agree with you. my brother always hopes for rain, to the extent that he hopes for floods, which we counteract by knocking at something wood so it won't come.
