Title: What a Rude Doctor!
Names and others will not be mentioned for privacy.
Friend: F ; Doctor: D
*She feels suffocate being on building during lockdown. Plus, she needs to treat her leg infection too. She decided to go the clinic to get medicine and have some consultation.*
*After registers her name and waiting for half hour in waiting area, she finally goes in to doctor's room*
D: Yes, do you have the virus symptoms? Cough? Fever? Shortness of breath?
F: Ahh, no doctor. I actually need to treat my leg because it seems to have infection and itchy and..
D: *Cuts her word* so you didn't have the virus symptoms? No fever, no cough, flu? Then why do you come here?
F: *Started to get annoyed but still be patient* Like I've said just now doctor, I wanted a leg treatment, it seems to have infection.. I don't really have fever, maybe I suffocate a little because being at dormitory all the time..
D: *Cuts her again* Look, girl, we are all busy here. We have many work to do. Why do you come if no virus symptoms? You are just fine walking in here. You're not supposed to come here at this time. Only those who have cough, fever, flu, shortness of breath can come here.
F: So, just because I don't have fever, you don't want to treat other infections? My leg? What if I get sick because of the infection? I also don't want to come here as I like, I have to come because my leg so itchy and something else came out!
D: Ok alright. So you sure you are fine right? Ok, ok let's treat your leg. *Checking her pulse, and whatever necessary*
*Finally done in doctor's room, waiting for the medicine.. but, she waited for another hour because the medic team are 'busy' watching YouTube and chit chatting....
*She finally return to dorm and told us this story. And she said in the end, 'Seriously, what a rude doctor! I should've complaint when I had the chance.'
The end!
Stay safe, take care.

It seems that everywhere, doctors are only treating COVID (which they donĀ“t know how to treat).

There is only one disease in whole world and its corona. Doctors only like to check them because they know they can make huge money. People are not treating well here too and they only want to check covid patient.

I know right! They shouldn't do that. I know, we know, the world is having covid crisis. But we cannot forget, there's still people who having high blood pressure, chest pain, heart attack etc. Why don't they make some part of the clinic for covid test and some for other illness. Gosh

I have been confused about the whole thing. Only come in if you have symptoms but don't come in because other people might catch it. If it is something else, don't come in because we need the facilities for Covid-19 patients. Wear a mask but don't wear one because it is unhealthy for you. Medical masks are good because they let you breathe easily but don't use it because the doctors need them. An old sock is good for you.

I really hope this isn't a true story. I've never heard of a doctor so rude. He should have his license revoked.

I think medical personnel are having a hard time because of the covid19 cases that kept increasing...The patience is really starting to wear thin. This is why i can't afford to get sick.

She may needed to go to a specialist it would center if you have those places there. They won't be treating covid patients and so she might get answers.
Did she end up getting any medicine for her leg?

Her infection of her leg is actually mild, and if she gets treated faster, she wouldn't go home limping. I still remember she went out at 16:00 and return to dormitory at 20:00. She waited there and the medic team only watching youtube for few straight hours before treating her.

Oof reminds me of when my mother went to the doctor at our regular clinic (by regular I mean once a year if that) and she asked for her regular prescription of asmol to treat her asthma and the doctor said (without checking) "I have no record of you needing that" she said "I've been coming here for over 20 years it is on my record as a prescription" she was right and he begrudgingly gave her the prescription... Ironically he didn't actually check her chest or anything else...
Our regular clinic has gone downhill...
A doctor also gave her antibiotics when we knew that she was allergic to the family of antibiotics... Anaphylactic... Luckily it was creeping anaphylaxis... Horrible she had anaphylaxis to it but lucky it wasn't fast onset.
This was precovid and my dad was still with us but working out of town and I didn't have my license yet
