James Fallon painted this mural when he was in his twenties so mid to late eighteenth century, it is said, he may have used local prostitutes (I hope you can use that term here) as models for the angels, what do you think? Myth or reality?

It’s local lore. There could be some truth to it though, because there were few women here at the time.
