A mouse a big one has entered the house..and this had spoiled my peace of mind. I can't leave anything open in the kitchen...I even need to keep the raw vegetables covered and can't leave them open. I tried noise trap but that doesn't work. Any other tips of catching it..

Is it a mouse of a rat? That wouldn't give me peace of mind either. I would be hunting it.

@amitkokiladitya a big mouse is a rat. It is dangerous for it can bite you. Have you tried the sticky paper? Put a little food in the center and the mouse will be caught.

we would place some flypapers in hidden areas where mice run around. more often than not, newborn mice are caught there.

Um. . .borrow a cat? My cat would be in heaven if she had a mouse to go after. Once in awhile she gets an insect. She's great with moths! Just do an Amazon search, you'll find some kind of good mouse trap.

I've never heard of or seen a big mouse. The 'big' mouse may be a rat.
